PLUG IT IN
Connect your Pixel over USB to a desktop Chrome or Edge browser. Nothing is installed on your computer for the check, and nothing on the phone changes.

DEVICE DETECTED
The browser asks the bootloader for its model, lock state and unlock eligibility. Model and codename only. No photos, no messages, no account.

VERIFIED COMPATIBLE
We check the codename against the current GrapheneOS support window and confirm OEM unlocking is allowed. If it is not, you find out now, before you pay for anything.

INSTALL GRAPHENEOS
The installer streams the signed factory image from releases.grapheneos.org into your Pixel. Every erase step asks you first. Then the bootloader is locked again.

HARDEN + PROVISION
A small, inspectable local helper applies a reviewed allowlist of settings over ADB, verifies each write and keeps a recovery journal on your computer. Your PIN and duress choices stay yours.

Sandboxed Google Play is optional and stays in its box. VPN, data eSIM and encrypted messaging are quoted separately and activated only after payment, never before.

A supported desktop browser connects directly to your Pixel over USB. The existing flasher handles the GrapheneOS installation.

Installing GrapheneOS requires unlocking the bootloader and erases your data. Back up first. The compatibility check itself only reads information and does not unlock or erase anything.
Flashing can take around 10 minutes on a suitable connection, after the image has downloaded. Allow additional time for backup, the download, first boot and your personal security choices. We do not promise a fixed completion time.
Many Android apps work on GrapheneOS. Some need its optional sandboxed Google Play compatibility layer, and some banking or device-integrity dependent apps may not work. Check essential apps before switching.
Only models in the current GrapheneOS support window qualify. Carrier restrictions or disabled OEM unlocking can prevent installation. Our check distinguishes model support from bootloader eligibility.
No. GrapheneOS and a considered configuration improve privacy and security. Your accounts, apps, network and behaviour still matter. Our reports state the limits of each check.
